Working on rewrites to Natural Order right now so I can sent it off to a new publisher and got to a section that cause me to slam to a screeching halt. I admit I am having a love/hate relation ship with revisions lately.

Well, I made it through another week and manage to get through to chapter 7. Thing is, with all the homework for my computer drafting class I never had time to post and update, until now. :) Here's a fun bit from Chapter 5...

A quick update: I finished chapters #1 - #3 and they are looking much better I think. I’m gonna need to round up a few more betas to go over the revision as I work, but I think I’ve dealt with the background/sequel info needed. I never released what a challenge sequels are until I tried writing one. I know how much I hate when a writer beats you ( Read more... )

Whew. Just sent out my Queer Wolf and Phaze RAW theme sheet submissions. Wish me luck on those. Not I have some charity stories to do to for anths supporting the fight against prop 8 to get cracking on. I need to remember to get my word count into the Nano verifier tomorrow. Snow and kids hope messed up my to do plans a bit today.

Okay, now that I've completed the Nano goal I am focusing on completely the rest of the novel by the 30th. If I can keep this pace, I should be fine. This one is looking to be at least 100k, so that's where I'm setting the word count for now. To those still working on Nano, keep going! If my ADD brain can do this, so can you. A long day of writng I've gotten a good bit done. I've decieded that when I hit 50k I'm going to change my word meter and head for the 100k mark. I don't know how long this novel will be, but I'm betting over 100k.

My GCLS DVD showed up in the mail today, and it was amazing. I'm kinda glad I didn;t get much air time on the recaps. I guess I'm still working on my own body comfort issues. I'm very tired. My daughter who is five was sick all last night and most of the day, so I could only write while she was resting. I did still get more that I feared I would but I'm about to fall over. I am still very happy about the elections results and very sad about the results on prop 8.
